Here in Australia we had NY almost first (NZ gets that) so was weird. Ours over and done when you got it!!!

Just back from ‘up the river (Murray)’ for a few days this year, and me in a tent.  First night with Remmy, my great nephew and the second on my own as he went n the caravan with his grandparents.  It was and is beautiful there, private land with friends caravans, bbqs and swimming.  When I was here 34 years ago, we water ski-ied too but dont have oats this time.

Off dolphiin swimming tomorrow, Thur, off Adelaide then Kangaroo Island with Johns (BIL) partner I worked for in the dive shop,34 years ago when I lived here a year.  Looking forward to seeing new place as now been n Aus two months, which has been great in Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns with nephew Sam, his Japanese wife and 7 month old daughter so great to se him. Then dashed up to norther Darwin and then here.  Busy busy, very expensive compared to SE Asia but Paula has sorted me friends to stay with most places and a cousin in Sydney, and a girl I met in Loas showed me the Sunshine Coast for a week which was superb and just gorgeous beaches!!!
